Zayed University, a regional leader of higher education, successfully concluded its annual Careers Fair, themed “Empowering Tomorrow’s Leaders,”held recently at the Dubai campus and Abu Dhabi campus, bringing together over 178 registered employers across both venues.
This year, 113 companies participated in Dubai and 65 in Abu Dhabi, with Bloom Holding as the Platinum Sponsor of the event. The Career Fair is designed to serve as a bridge between academia and industry, providing ZU students and alumni with direct access to leading organizations across multiple sectors.
A highlight of the event was the recognition of top hiring employers for 2025 and the employers most committed to supporting ZU interns, in acknowledgment of their role in shaping the future workforce. With 80% of participating organizations from the private sector, the Careers Fair strongly aligns with the UAE’s Nafis program and broader government agenda to encourage Emirati talent to thrive in private-sector careers.
The Careers Fair facilitates dialogue between industry leaders and ZU’s academic departments, creating pathways for students to secure full-time and part-time roles, internships, sponsorships, and scholarships. This year, ZU is placed particular emphasis on its “Internship to Employment” approach, encouraging employers to transition promising interns into permanent hires.
ZU’s commitment to employability is reflected in its most recent Graduate Destination Survey (Spring & Summer 2024), which recorded an 86% employment rate and a 96% overall employability rate among graduates.

The Careers Fair also featured interactive sessions, workshops, and panel discussions, offering students deeper insights into labour market trends, career planning, and skill development. Participating employers represented a diverse set of industries, showcasing the strong partnerships Zayed University continues to foster with the private sector to support the UAE’s vision for a knowledge-based economy.
