Nine Repton students were selected to take part, aged from 9 to 12, and played as an ensemble using a range of instruments including keyboard, violin, flute, ukulele, voice and percussion.
The concert featured schools from the UAE performing short works of either music, drama or dance/movement, exploring the themes of tolerance and what it means to students across the world.
Nisreen Jardaneh, Head of Music at Repton Abu Dhabi commented: “Our students were very keen to participate in this great musical event. Repton has students representing over 73 nationalities and this was a brilliant example of how people from many different countries can come together, make wonderful music and really demonstrate the positive and beneficial aspects and values of tolerance.”
