A student of Aldar Academies’ The Pearl Academy has had her first-ever book published at the tender age of just six years old. The fantastically talented author, VaishikaSatheshwaran, who dreams of becoming an astronaut, has penned the imaginative book taking readers on a fact-filled journey into space.
Having a strong passion for Astronomy, Vaishika spends the majority of her spare time watching documentaries and reading books about space. Wanting to channel all of her extensive knowledge, she began to draft a story, which takes readers on a journey into space, making facts exciting and memorable for all ages.
VaishikaSatheshwaran, author and student at The Pearl Academy, said: “It has always been my dream to go to space and this book has allowed me to combine my two dreams to become an author and astronaut.
My friends have all been so supportive. One of my friends says she loves the book so much, she reads it every day! I can’t wait to start writing more books, which will all be about space and most importantly, about gratitude and kindness.”
Abigale Fishbourne, Principal at The Pearl Academy, said: “I am so proud of this amazing achievement, as well as being a great book, it is a wonderful example of the skills and determination of Vishikha. When asked where in space she’d like to visit, Vaishika stated she was most inspired by the UAE’s mission to Mars on the Hope Probe and hopes that one day, she will be able to venture there too.
