The event was organized by NYU Abu Dhabi (NYUAD) and Fatima Bint Mubarak Ladies Sports Academy (FBMA), in partnership with Abu Dhabi Sports Council (ADSC), and was also attended by prominent US Sports Historian Victoria Jackson and Executive Director of the Center for Sport Leadership Carrie Lecrom.

Held last night on NYUAD’s outdoor track, athletes worked in relay teams to run heats of 200 and 400 meters to collectively complete 42.2 kilometers. By the end of the race, three winning teams were announced, where Ultimate Athletics won first place,‘HUA’ won second place, and Abu Dhabi Striders won third place.

The Katching Kosgei relay race comes in line with NYUAD’s mission of encouraging the community to pursue a healthy and active lifestyle.
